Yaskawa Drives Seminar @ Renaissance Hotel Johor Bahru

Yaskawa Electric Singapore, together with its partner Maydenki, held its first run of the Yaskawa Drives seminar on 16 November 2016 at Renaissance Hotel Johor Bahru. The theme for this seminar is “Environmentally friendly ways to save energy”.

Opening Address

In his opening address, Mr Francis Wong, Assistant Vice President, Drives Division, outlined Yaskawa Electric’s vision to support environmental causes through energy efficient solutions offered by the company.

During the seminar, Mr Tashiro Hironobu, Technical General Manager, Drives Division elaborated extensively through case studies on how Yaskawa’s U1000 AC Drive deploys matrix technology which creates energy savings by returning regenerative energy directly back to the power supply, increasing energy efficiency and saving money.
He also unveiled the latest inverter series - GA700. GA700 offers a revolution for users with its compatibility to different motor types, increased productivity, higher levels of energy efficiency, cost reductions and enhanced environmental compatibility.

The seminar also featured a hands-on session for our participants where they had a chance to learn more about the functionalities of the GA700 which was well-received with positive responses.
